Fruitful 2023



Time flies and now I am count downing to my Japan holiday in 15 days.

Japan has been opening up her borders lately. In comparison to last year's holiday, this year I do not need to apply for visa. Even though this year's holiday is only for about a week. I take every opportunity to prepare myself for my future plans. 

For this trip, unknowingly happens during the Great Earthquake and Tsunami anniversary that happened 12 years ago. I will be visiting 6 areas in this trip. They are Fukushima, Sendai, Kesennuma, Kyoto, Tokyo and Yokohama.

I will be meeting the following people.

Fukushima: Megumi Hirai and Yukari Matsumoto from Operation Blessing Japan 

Sendai: Julie, Fumiko, Chieko, Miranda from FCBC Sendai 

Kesennuma: Pastor Minegishi Hiroshi from Kesennuma First Bible Baptist Church 

Kyoto: Minami from FCBC Nagoya 

Yokohama: Charlotte from FCBC Yokohama

I have started packing my luggages and planned to donate some winter clothes to Travis. Even though I was not able to meet him personally, I will be delivering the items via Yamato in Haneda Airport.

My Japan Holiday 2022 (Kyoto, Arashiyama) (16th to 18th Aug) (Tues to Thurs)

  Day 8 (16th) (Tues) After bidding Osaka farewell, I arrived at Kyoto station at 9.45am. After exiting the station, I walked to my hotel and arrived at 10.39am. I rearranged my luggage and went out to explore the city. As I wanted to visit Kimono shops, I took Karasuma line subway to Karasuma Oike station and changed to Tozai Line to Higashiyama station. From Higashiyama station, I walked to the kimono shop and ate matcha icecream. As the shop was closed, I went to the nearby river and used watercolor to paint. I walked to these places: Ichizawa Shinzaburo Hanpu (一澤信三郎布), Daiyasu Gion (大安 祇園店), Yojiya Makeup Shop. After much walking around, I decided to have lunch. I ate Ramen and Kakigori (Shaved Ice).  At 2.25pm, I walked back to Higashiyama station to Karasuma Line Karasuma Oike Station and head back to hotel to check in. I arrived at the hotel at 3.07pm. New Year Resolutions 2010

Year 2010, just secretly entered and bye to 2009. It is another new day that the Lord has made and I will rejoice in it. Even as i reflect back what has happened in 2009, I thank God for seeing me through what i have went through, whether ups or downs; He never forsake me. His faithfulness never fails. Even as the new year began, I thought through the goals and dreams I have set for last year. I thank God for at least fulfilling one of them and I look forward to this year new as I believe that God had prepared exciting things and events for me. I think through once again the goals and dreams that i want to set for this year, as such: Spiritual 1)To put God 1st in anything I do 2)Constant prayer life on a daily basis for @ least 30mins a day 3)To fast for @ least once a month 4)Renew SOL1 5)Constant Quiet time with the Lord 6)Mission Trip Finances 7)To save for another 10K in my POSB account 8)To save @ least 3K in my OUB account 9)To go for holiday @ Labuan in 1st week of March ...
