My Life

  Hi Folks, Thank you for tuning in to my 3 weeks of holiday in Japan. First and foremost,  I want to thank the following people for making this trip possible. They are: My Heavenly Father, Pastor Caleb and Christina, Wanping, Tokudaw Inc. , Spiritual Family, Touch Child Care Staff and my family. Thank you Heavenly Father for all the resources and support during these 3 weeks Thank you Pastor Caleb and Christina for providing accomodation and motivation during my stay at Nagoya, Sendai and Yokohama. Thank you Tokudaw Inc and Wanping for the services provided throughout these period of time.  Thank you Jun, Mandy, Alicia, Suzy and Ariel for all the prayers and reminders about FCBC Conference during this period of time .     Day 18 (26th) (Fri) After bidding Sendai farewell, I arrived at Shin Yokohama station at 3.20pm. I changed to Yokohama local line to Yokohama station and change to Keikyu Main Line to Koganecho station. I walked to Mystays Yokohama and checked in at 4pm. I quickly unpack my luggage and went to the nearby seven eleven to withdraw money. After which, I walked to Bandobashi station (Blue line) and took subway to Kannai station to meet Pastors, Fumio and Rose for dinner at a Gyoza shop. At the gyoza shop, I met Sumire and after dinner, Pastor Christina and I went to a Chinese provision shop to buy things and I went to their hotel room to collect my luggage. After exiting the hotel, I walked back to my hotel and unpack my luggage while watching FCBC Conference online and I rested for the night at 12.30am. Day 15 (23rd) (Tues) After bidding Nagoya farewell, I arrived at Sendai station at 12.45pm. After arriving, I walked to the Gyutan street for lunch. After lunch, I informed Pastor Christina that I am done with my lunch and will be going to take subway to their apartment and the arrival time of the train.  I text Yuko and told her that I found the place that she alighted us 4 years ago. I took Namboku line to Yaotome station and arrived at 2.05pm. At 2.20pm, Pastor Caleb came and picked me up at the taxi stand area. Upon arrival at their apartment, Pastor Christina warmly welcomed me and I checked into the room that they have prepared for me. Pastor Christina told me that I can do my laundry tomorrow as the weather was sunny. I tidied up my things and she told me that we will go out to buy things for dinner at 5pm. We brought back lots of things. After unloading all the things, we went to a sushi restaurant for dinner. I laid out my futon and comforter and rest for the night at 11pm...

Day 10 (18th) (Thurs) After bidding Kyoto farewell, I arrived at Nagoya station at 10.40am. After arriving, I walked to Higashiyama Line to Sakae Station. At 10.55am, I arrived at Sakae Station and walked to exit 2 for APA Hotel Nagoya Nishiki Excellent. I left my luggages at the hotel and went out to explore the neighbourhood. These are the places that I have visited: Mitsukoshi, Lachic. I had lunch at Lachic and continued to walk around until 4.30pm. I walked back to my hotel to check in and started to unpack my luggages. I had dinner at 8pm and slept at 9pm. Day 11 (19th) (Fri) Waking up at 7am, I head to Tully's Coffee for breakfast. After breakfast, I head to Nagoya station to change train to Aonami line to Kinjofuto station. I arrived at 9am. I walked over to Legoland and explored the area. I took a lot of photos and exited at 11.30am. I walked over to the Japan Railway Theme Park for lunch. After lunch, I started to explore the area and took photos with the old trains.  As ...

  Day 8 (16th) (Tues) After bidding Osaka farewell, I arrived at Kyoto station at 9.45am. After exiting the station, I walked to my hotel and arrived at 10.39am. I rearranged my luggage and went out to explore the city. As I wanted to visit Kimono shops, I took Karasuma line subway to Karasuma Oike station and changed to Tozai Line to Higashiyama station. From Higashiyama station, I walked to the kimono shop and ate matcha icecream. As the shop was closed, I went to the nearby river and used watercolor to paint. I walked to these places: Ichizawa Shinzaburo Hanpu (一澤信三郎布), Daiyasu Gion (大安 祇園店), Yojiya Makeup Shop. After much walking around, I decided to have lunch. I ate Ramen and Kakigori (Shaved Ice).  At 2.25pm, I walked back to Higashiyama station to Karasuma Line Karasuma Oike Station and head back to hotel to check in. I arrived at the hotel at 3.07pm.   Day 5 (13th) (Sat)  After bidding Hakata farewell, I arrived at Shin-Osaka station at 12.30pm. I changed to Midosuji line subway to head to Yodoyabashi Station. I arrived at 12.54pm and went to the wrong exit instead of exit 11. When I arrived at the hotel, it was 1pm but I was not able to check in as it was not 3pm yet. I rearranged my luggages and exit at 1.15pm to explore the areas.  I went to Shinsaibashi station by subway and arrived at 1.20pm. I visited the following places: Shinsaibashi-suji, Sanrio Gallery, Owndays, Uniqlo, Dotonbori. After walking for a period of time, I went back to hotel at 4.20pm. I arrived at Yodoyabashi station at  4.50pm and walked to the hotel to check in. After checking in, I started to unpack my luggage until 7.20pm. I went for shower at the onsen and went out to buy dinner and breakfast for the next few days at the nearby convenient store. I ate my dinner at 8.45pm. Day 2 (10th Aug) (Wed) It was a bright and sunny day. I woke up at 6am for my morning devotion and showers. I head to the kitchen to cook for my breakfast. I ate my breakfast at 7.50am. After breakfast, I dressed up and set off to Tenjin Subway station and travelled to Imajuku station at 9.45am. I arrived at Imajuku Station at 10.12am and walked around the neighborhood while waiting for Eric and Yumiko.  Eric and Yumiko arrived at 11am and they brought me to a fish restaurant for lunch. After lunch, we drove passed Kyushu University before heading back to their house for afternoon tea and English Phonics class for 3 Children.   During English Phonics Class, 3 children aged 7 and 8 asked me what was my favourite fruit and animal. I spoke to them in English and told them that I like apple and giraffe. 2 of them took a while to warm up but gradually open themselves up towards the end of the class.  After class, Yumiko and I went out for a walk around the neighb...
